Wednesday Wisdom

As we are all watching COVID-19 unfold and wondering about short- and long-term impact, I thought it appropriate to share a quote from Stoic philosophy.

”I judge you unfortunate because you have never lived through misfortune. You have passed through life without an opponent— no one can ever know what you are capable of, not even you.”

– Seneca

We are all living through misfortune so at this time it is important – no, imperative that we take care of our loved ones, ourselves, and our neighbors, be kind to all, prepare for the worst but expect the best. We will get through this together.
